Brooklyn Industries is a New York clothing and lifestyle brand founded by artists in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in 1998. Guided by its “Live, Work, Create” philosophy, the brand designs clothing, bags, and accessories inspired by Brooklyn’s art, culture, and community, reaching customers through its retail stores and online storefront.

The challenge

For Brooklyn Industries, launching a collection meant more than getting new designs ready. Behind every release, teams had to prepare product details, upload photography, update prices, and coordinate stock across the online storefront and retail stores. Much of that work depended on spreadsheets and manual updates.

Product information moved between teams without a central process for validation and publishing. Descriptions, sizes, colors, and fabric details were maintained in separate systems, so even a small correction required multiple updates and another round of checks. Marketing teams faced the same repetition when new images or revised content became available.

Keeping inventory accurate was a daily challenge. Warehouse, store, and online records were not consistently synchronized, leaving teams to investigate differences before they could rely on the quantities shown. Products could be physically available without appearing available online, limiting opportunities to sell stock already on hand.

Store replenishment added more manual work. Transfers from the warehouse and returns from stores were tracked separately, making it harder to follow stock movements and keep each location’s records current. Pricing changes also required repeated updates to maintain consistency between the ERP, retail systems, and online storefront.

As collections changed and the business grew, this work became increasingly difficult to manage. Teams spent more time checking records and correcting discrepancies, slowing product launches and taking attention away from merchandising and marketing.

The solution

Brooklyn Industries brought product data, publishing, and inventory synchronization into Qooly AI, connecting its ERP, online storefront, and retail systems. Teams could manage changes centrally and carry them through to the systems used to sell and replenish products.

Three Qooly AI Agents handle the work behind these connected operations.

Agent Flow

Agent Flow prepares product information for publication, applying Brooklyn Industries’ rules for required attributes, field mapping, and data validation. Descriptions, sizes, colors, fabric details, and pricing are checked before updates reach the online storefront and retail systems.

Missing or inconsistent information is flagged for review, giving teams a clear way to resolve issues before publishing. AI-powered enrichment also supports product descriptions, SEO content, and classification, reducing the effort needed to prepare each collection.

Agent Sync

Agent Sync distributes approved product information, prices, and digital assets across connected systems. Teams make a change once, and the agent delivers it in the format each destination requires.

Marketing teams can manage photography and content centrally, while pricing updates flow from the ERP without repeated uploads. This makes it easier to keep listings current throughout a collection’s selling cycle.

Agent Stock

Agent Stock keeps inventory synchronized between the ERP, warehouse, online storefront, and retail stores. Stock changes are reflected across connected locations, giving teams a more dependable view of available quantities.

It also automates warehouse-to-store transfer and return workflows, reducing the need to track movements separately and reconcile records by hand. Keeping physical stock and online availability aligned helps reduce inventory discrepancies, overselling, and missed sales from products that are available but not visible online.

The Impact

With Qooly AI, Brooklyn Industries can manage collection launches and daily updates through a connected process. Product information is checked before publication, content and pricing changes reach the relevant systems automatically, and inventory stays aligned across online and retail operations.

Less time goes into repeated uploads, manual checks, and stock reconciliation. Teams can focus more on preparing collections and merchandising, while supporting growth with less administrative work.

Before Qooly

  • Product details maintained in separate spreadsheets and systems
  • Every product change required repeated updates and checks
  • Images and prices uploaded manually across systems
  • Warehouse, store, and online inventory frequently out of step
  • Store transfers and returns tracked and reconciled by hand
  • Manual preparation and corrections slowed collection launches

After Qooly

  • One governed product catalog for online and retail operations
  • Agent Flow validates product data before publication
  • Agent Sync distributes approved content and pricing automatically
  • Agent Stock keeps inventory synchronized across locations
  • Automated transfer and return workflows keep stock records current
  • Connected workflows simplify launches and reduce daily manual work
“
Launching a collection used to mean chasing details across spreadsheets and double-checking stock before we could trust it. Now product data is validated before it goes out, and what we show online matches what is actually on the shelf.
