General Denim Works (GDW) is a men’s denim brand built around everyday comfort, durable fabrics, and accessible pricing. Its collections span relaxed, straight, and slim fits, with a range of washes and sizes to suit different styles and body types. The brand reaches consumers through its own online storefront and online marketplaces, alongside retail partners served through its B2B wholesale business.

The challenge

For General Denim Works, keeping product information aligned between SAP, its online storefront, and marketplaces required constant manual work. Each denim style came in multiple washes, waist sizes, and lengths, creating a catalog of variants that had to be prepared, checked, and maintained across separate platforms.

Teams manually exported product data from SAP and prepared it for publication, including through Amazon Seller Central. Spreadsheets were used to map attributes, organize size and color variations, and format content for each destination. A change to a product’s fabric details, fit, or description could mean revisiting the same information across multiple listings.

Marketplace requirements added another layer of work. Titles, images, attributes, and variation structures had to meet each platform’s specifications. Missing information or incorrectly mapped variants led to listing errors and repeated corrections, delaying the availability of new products.

Photography and marketing content were also maintained separately. Teams uploaded images to each platform and checked that every wash and variant displayed the correct assets. As collections expanded, keeping listings complete and consistent became increasingly time-consuming.

Pricing and inventory updates from SAP required manual preparation and synchronization. Delays left platforms showing inconsistent prices or outdated stock availability. Teams had to compare records, correct discrepancies, and check that inventory available in the warehouse was accurately reflected online.

Without a central process connecting SAP data to product validation and publishing, seasonal launches could take weeks. Daily maintenance competed with new collection preparation, leaving the team managing spreadsheets, correcting listings, and repeating work as the catalog grew.

The solution

General Denim Works introduced Qooly AI to connect SAP with its online storefront and marketplaces, replacing separate spreadsheets and uploads with a managed process for preparing and publishing product data.

Each style and its variants could now be maintained centrally, with Qooly AI’s three agents handling validation, content distribution, and inventory synchronization.

Agent Flow

Agent Flow organizes product data from SAP and prepares it for each sales channel. It maps fit, wash, waist size, and length attributes, checks required fields, and structures product variations to match each platform’s requirements.

Missing details and inconsistent variant data are flagged before publication, helping the team address issues before they become listing errors. AI-powered enrichment supports product titles, descriptions, SEO content, and classification, reducing the work needed to prepare new collections.

Agent Sync

Agent Sync distributes approved product information and digital assets to the online storefront and connected marketplaces, including Amazon.

Teams manage descriptions, attributes, and photography in Qooly AI, then publish them in the format each destination requires. Images stay associated with the correct products and washes, while subsequent changes flow through to connected listings without repeating the same uploads.

This gives the team a consistent way to launch collections and maintain product content throughout the season.

Agent Stock

Agent Stock synchronizes inventory from SAP across the online storefront and marketplaces, keeping availability aligned as stock levels change.

Automated updates replace manual inventory files and repeated checks across platforms. This helps reduce overselling and discrepancies that leave warehouse stock available physically but unavailable online.

The Impact

General Denim Works replaced repetitive listing maintenance with a connected workflow from SAP to its sales channels. Product and variant data are validated before publishing, digital assets are managed centrally, and inventory updates flow automatically.

The team spends less time formatting files, uploading images, and correcting inconsistencies. New collections are easier to prepare and publish, while a growing catalog can be maintained with less manual effort.

We ship denim, not spreadsheets. Keeping every fit, wash, and size accurate across our website and marketplaces used to mean repeating the same work. With Qooly AI, we manage product content in one place and keep inventory aligned with SAP. Our team spends less time uploading files and fixing listings, and more time getting new collections ready.
