Mavi, incorporated in 1991 in Istanbul, is recognized as a highly successful global lifestyle brand, rooted in 35 years of denim expertise. Publicly traded since 2017, Mavi has a presence in 37 countries, selling through approximately 4,000 points including 471 Mavi shops.

The challenge

Mavi's digital commerce team was managing more than 900,000 active SKUs across 16+ sales channels, including multiple Shopify Plus storefronts, B2B channels, marketplaces, dropship platforms, and more than 25 retail stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Every product launch relied on manual exports, channel-specific field mapping, spreadsheet manipulation, and multiple rounds of quality assurance. Seasonal launches could take weeks before products were fully published across every sales channel.

Without a centralized Product Intelligence and Data Governance platform, each channel had to be managed independently. Teams manually created and maintained channel-specific attributes, transformed product data to meet each marketplace's requirements, uploaded channel-specific images and videos, and validated listings one by one. Maintaining consistent product information across a rapidly growing catalog became increasingly difficult.

Managing marketplace operations was equally manual. Product catalogs and inventory for dropship and marketplace channels were uploaded and synchronized through Excel files. This required the team to repeatedly prepare product files, monitor inventory availability, and resolve publishing errors whenever product or inventory data changed.

Inventory synchronization was another major challenge. There was no automated barcode validation between Mavi's SAP S/4HANA ERP and its downstream sales channels. As a result, barcode mismatches were not identified before data reached each channel, leading to failed product updates, inventory discrepancies, and synchronization issues.

Errors in manually prepared Excel inventory uploads created additional synchronization failures. In many cases, sellable inventory remained physically available in the warehouse but was not reflected as available across e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or retail stores. This left valuable inventory stranded and unavailable for sale.

Inventory transfers from warehouses to retail store locations were also handled manually, as were product return requests from retail stores back to the warehouse.

The team spent countless hours manually generating Available-to-Sell (ATS) reports, transferring inventory to Shopify POS retail stores, preparing digital assets, publishing products to marketplaces, and monitoring listings across every sales endpoint. The marketing team also had to upload images independently to each marketplace platform.

These highly manual processes frequently caused overselling, suppressed marketplace listings, delayed product launches, barcode and inventory discrepancies, inconsistent customer experiences, stranded inventory, lost revenue, and unnecessary operational overhead.

The solution

Qooly AI became the Product Intelligence and orchestration layer between Mavi's SAP S/4HANA ERP and its connected commerce ecosystem.

Product information, inventory, pricing, attributes, and digital assets could now be centrally validated, governed, transformed, approved, and distributed across every connected sales channel.

Three Qooly AI Agents were introduced to automate Mavi's product and inventory operations:

Agent Flow

Agent Flow automates product data workflows, field mapping, transformations, validations, approvals, and channel-specific business rules.

It validates product information before distribution, identifies missing or inconsistent attributes, and checks barcode data between SAP S/4HANA and downstream sales channels. This helps prevent incorrect barcode assignments and product data errors from reaching marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and retail systems.

Agent Flow also supports AI-powered product enrichment, including localized titles, descriptions, translations, SEO content, product taxonomy classification, and channel-specific attributes.

Agent Sync

Agent Sync automatically distributes approved product information, pricing, attributes, images, videos, and other digital assets across Mavi's connected sales channels.

Instead of preparing and uploading separate files for every platform, Mavi's teams can update product information once and synchronize it across Shopify Plus storefronts, B2B channels, marketplaces, dropship platforms, and other connected endpoints.

This allows the marketing and digital commerce teams to manage product content and digital assets centrally while maintaining each channel's specific data and formatting requirements.

Agent Stock

Agent Stock continuously synchronizes inventory between SAP S/4HANA, warehouses, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, B2B channels, and Shopify POS retail stores.

Agent Stock processes more than 2 million inventory updates every day and handles over 60 million inventory transactions every month, helping ensure that inventory remains accurate, synchronized, and available for sale across every connected location and channel.

It also supports inventory transfers from warehouses to retail stores, retail-store return requests back to the warehouse, and automated Available-to-Sell calculations.

By replacing manual Excel uploads with governed inventory synchronization, Agent Stock helps prevent upload errors, inventory mismatches, overselling, and situations where sellable inventory remains stranded in a warehouse but unavailable online.

The Impact

With Qooly AI, Mavi replaced disconnected spreadsheets and channel-by-channel processes with a centralized, automated, and governed product and inventory operation.

Product teams can update information once and distribute it everywhere. Marketing teams can centrally manage images and videos instead of uploading them independently to each platform. Barcode and product data issues can be identified before reaching sales channels, while inventory is continuously synchronized across warehouses, marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and physical retail stores.

The result is faster product launches, more reliable inventory availability, fewer synchronization and listing errors, improved product data consistency, and significantly less manual operational work across Mavi's omnichannel ecosystem.

Before Qooly

  • 900,000+ SKUs managed manually across 16+ sales channels
  • Weeks to publish a season across every channel
  • Every channel built by hand: attributes, media, and QA one by one
  • Inventory mismatches across ERP, warehouses, and retail stores
  • Manual ATS reports and stock transfers to Shopify POS
  • Barcode and attribute errors reaching channels unvalidated

After Qooly

  • 900,000+ SKUs governed automatically from SAP S/4HANA
  • New products validated and published across 16+ endpoints in seconds
  • AI Agents validate, enrich, and publish every channel automatically
  • Real-time inventory synced across ERP, warehouses, and stores
  • ATS calculated automatically; Shopify POS transfers fully automated
  • Barcodes and attributes validated against SAP before publishing
“
Managing product data had become unnecessarily complex and repetitive. Qooly transformed our product data into a single, trusted source powering faster operations, greater efficiency, and a seamless omnichannel experience.
